Chattanooga Group Closes its Doors

Employees found out just before lunchtime. The doors were locked by early Tuesday afternoon at the Adams street plant. Company officials today told us they are combing operations with another facility in California. More than 300 workers will lose their jobs here over the next few months.
Hixson's DJO, formally known as Chattanooga Group, informed employees that they were closing Tuesday.
