
Chattanooga Mayor Returns From Germany, Talks Turn To U.S. Economy

While there he says he spoke with Volkswagen officials about the U.S. financial crisis. Mayor Littlefield says their main concern was how the economy would fair in two years - the time when the new Chattanooga plant is planned to be up and running. The city and county mayor, along with the governor will return to Germany later this month. They plan to discuss and potentially recruit auto-parts suppliers.
