Chattanooga Police and Area Agencies Team Up for Fugitive Round Ups.

A convicted felon and a man wanted for rape and aggravated domestic assault are among the fugitives caught in a Chattanooga round up.

Officers with area agencies targeted wanted criminals in sector two.

That includes the East Chattanooga, Avondale, Bushtown, Highland Park, East Lake and Glenwood areas.

Sgt. Weary, "Other law enforcement agencies are calling in speaking with our fugitive guys asking them how do you run this operation how you begin and how do we invite these other agencies in to participate so that we can produce the same results that you all produce. so it's definitely something that works and is catching on."

This is the latest in a series of monthly round ups.
Sgt. Weary says the numbers speak for themselves about how successful they are.
