Chattanooga State Plans to Build Dorms For Students

Getting to Chattanooga State may soon become less of a commute for students.
That's because of a new proposal for dorms.
President Jim Catanzaro says the project could be up and running in less than two years.
At a roundtable discussion today with Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen...students noted that on-campus housing would better student relations and involvement at the school.
Gov. Phil Bredesen\(D) Tennessee:
"We have kids who come in that aren't sure if they want to go to college. It may be much more of a cultural change for them and I think the community colleges can be a good way to move kids into the college system."
The proposal will be brought to the board in March.
