I think you might be underestimating that number a bit...

With so many "hidden costs" involved with the Iraq War, some estimates are saying it could be over $1 trillion (with a "T"). And not to mention the human lives lost.

You are so right.If you are a immagrant you get what ever you ask for.And it all started when someone in the bush family married a mexican.Bush opened up the boarders.Let them in .Give them what ever they want.To HELL with AMERICANS he said.We have boarder patrol people.Let them do the job they used to do.If a mexican steps one foot across the boarder SHOOT THEM.The way the job is suppose to be done.Bush and the goverment is out to take out each and every true american they can.And people sit back and say .How can these young kids dress like nazzis and say they hate amreica .Our so called president and goverment is not showing nothing but HATE toward the true AMERICANS.I fill sorry for your granma she and your family will be in our PRAYERS.Thats all we can do is pray for one another.And hope GOD wil inner vein for AMERICA.Keep your head up.Keep striving we will make it .GOD will deliver us from evil.

i live in Chatsworth, GA and I feel sorry for your situation, but food stamps are only to suppliment your wages. It is not the job of the public to make sure you have lots to eat. You can live on beans and potatoes like our parents did. If you are on public assistance then you do not deserve to live like kings, only to survive. Maybe you could cut out your internet, tv, phone, cell, and other entertainment expenses and be able to afford the Mayfield over the Food Lion milk. Obviously you have internet else i would not be having this conversation.

The internet I am on is at work.At home we have no internet home phone or cell.And we are not on no public assistance.We have no cable tv no sattelite .Our kids watch the same vhs movies day in and day out.And I am not looking for the public to help out God knows that went out a long time ago.Ask your parents if you can Back when neighbors helped neighbors.Its not like that no more.All we asked for is a little american help from our goverment for our children.Not to live like kings and queens.Just to feed our kids.But the way you come across you probaly work for the goverment.Or you are one of the rich ones who look down on the poor.Like I said we have no entertainment not even a computer for our 8 year old for school work.Not wanting a hand out.Just a little help from someone who is suppose to help.Is it a bad thing to want your children to have food.It must be in your eyes.I wish you could look into there eyes and tell them no .We can not get no food or milk this week.But I guess you dont have that problem.The state of tn.and ga. are tottaly differnt when it comes to helping.Thank god you dont live here.So all I can say is sorry if it bothered you with a father wanting his kids to have things to eat and drink.

I wish there was something we could say but look. I am amazed when people that have lived here and the local Carpet Mills filled with Hispanics and I have personally saw 2 familes of hispanics that live in a $160,000.00 House use WIC to Pay for their EGGS,MILK,CEREAL & CHEESE. They had 2 children in the cart 3 running down the Ailes at Food Lion opening boxes and just so happened when they left pulled out in front of me in a New SUV and being how they live in the same area I nearly followed them home.. No ONE KNOWS the ANGER I FEEL WHEN I SEE THEM WITH 10 KIDS AND CLAIM IT IS AGAINST THEIR BELIEFS TO USE BIRTH CONTROL. WELL IF THEY ARE SO MUCH INTO THE BIBLE IT ALSO SAYS A MAN THAT WON'T PROVIDE FOR HIS OWN HOUSE IS A INFADILE/
I pray God will forgive me to get the anger out but no one knows how it feels when you see 4 or 5 familes living in the same house each getting Food Stamps, Wic and other allowances when their teenage Daughters get Pregnant and we foot the bill. When is Enough Enough.....!!@@!??? They drive half the time with no insurance, or license. And what is so bad is it is usually the Hispanics that have the jobs hey they make out pretty good. 5 or 6 working married showing dependant children and getting free meals at school.. I am not saying that other people don't do it because lets face it if they could get by with it they would. But alot of things I have seen have been a language barrier saying they don't speak english but understand enough to know when the money comes in. Did you know that if a child is born to a couple that were illegal that they can receive $10,000.00 to start College because their Parents were illegal? Forgive me and my SOAPBOX But IT IS TIME FOR SOMEONE TO WAKE UP AND SPEAK OUT AGAINIST THIS AS IT IS WRONG. I am sorry for the misspelling I hope you all get my meaning. I would give anyone that needed it the shirt off my back and if soomeone was hungry I would give them something to eat, but where do the Young Men and Women go when they come back from Iraq wounded with no job and the meal ticket keeps going for the Ones from Mexico that shouldn't be here in the first place. Hey if you want to come and be in our Country do the right way..
