Corporate Training Centers Being Designed For Enterprise South
Hamilton County plans to build a corporate training center at Enterprise South.
The county will use the facility as a recruiting tool for new industry... Plus help existing businesses improve the skills of their employees.
Mayor Claude Ramsey told Pachyderm members today the center is already in the design phase, and Chattanooga and the Chamber will partner on the project. "As we've talked with companies there's no doubt that a Toyota would have had to have a training center there's no doubt large companies would want on site training," says Ramsey.
Ramsey adds despite poor economic conditions in other parts of the country, he's been contacted recently by several businesses looking to expand in the area.
He says efforts to strengthen the public school system help with corporate recruiting.
