
Early Voting Begins in Most Georgia Counties for December 2nd Runoffs

Georgians get a head start on the December 2nd runoff elections as early voting got underway Monday morning.
Voters statewide will elect a U.S. Senator, a state appeals court judge and a public service commissioner as no candidate received the 50-percent plus one needed to win election November 4th.
While most of the attention is on the Senate race between incumbent Saxby Chambliss and democrat Jim Martin... There are three area contests.
Voters in Catoosa, Dade, Walker and Chattooga counties will decide between Brian House and Lawrence Stagg for a Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Judgeship.
In Whitfield County, Sam Little and Chris Griffin are in a runoff for Magistrate.
In Dade County, voters chose between incumbent Tom Reed and Joel McCormick for Chief Magistrate.
