It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Chattanooga.

That's because EPB unveiled its holiday window displays this evening.

The displays are part of a 60 year tradition at the electric company.

The Market Street scene features holiday shoppes with all the tinsel and trim.

The Broad Street side features a neighborhood scene, complete with a light show.

It took 75 people more than 1600 hours to complete the original design.

"We appreciate the community allowing us to give this back to them. It's very important to us. This is how they start their holiday a lot of the time and we want to make it special," Event Specialist Lisa Miller told News 12.

The display will remain up until the first part of January.

Organizers say they've already started thinking about next year's theme.
