ESPN Reports Monte Kiffin Will Join Son Lane At Tennessee
When the Volunteer take the field in 2009, there may be two Kiffins coaching on the sidelines.
It's being reported that Monte Kiffin will follow his son Lane to Big Orange Country following the conclusion of the NFL season.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen was told by sources in Tampa that the Bucs 67-year-old defensive coordinator will be leaving the team after this year.
He will be taking a bit of a pay cut to coach along side his son.
Monte Kiffin is believed to make more money in his current job than all of the Tennessee assistant coaches combined.
Today Bucs Head Coach Jon Gruden deflected questions concerning Monte Kiffin and his future in Tampa.
"You know, Monte can answer those questions. I know this, we don't want to lose him. He's my friend and obviously I want Monte to answer those questions. He knows the internal workings of what's going on there," said Gruden.
