Fire Damages East Brainerd Home

A fire near a Christmas tree damagers a house in Brainerd. The found smoke pouring out two windows from one corner of the house on the first floor. The flames was beginning to penetrate into the second floor before the firefighters were able to get the blaze under control. No injuries were reported. Fire Investigators say it looks like the fire started near a real Christmas tree. The cause remains under investigation. Damages are estimated at $170,000.
