Gingerbread Lane At Chattanooga Market
The Chattanooga Market is nearing the end of its season, and there's one more to go, but not before they take a stroll down gingerbread lane.
The theme this week was making Gingerbread houses.
It was a fundraiser for the "Why Know" program which helps kids make healthy choices like staying abstinent.
A professional chef demonstrated how to make a gingetbread house.
He does it every year to help a particular charity.
Chef Timothy Mulderick says, "The passion I have for the baking and also because I guess the enchantment of the season. It always warms the hearts of everybody that we share them with. So, it's a big part of our holiday and our family."
Kids from Ooltewah Middle School and local Girl Scouts also made gingerbread houses, which were for sale.
Visitors could vote on which one was the best.
Next week is the last one for the Chattanooga Market this season, but it'll be open both Saturday and Sunday for the Holiday Market.
