An arrest in Nashville over the weekend has ties to Chattanooga.
40-year old Ronald Boykin was charged with three counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of statutory rape.
The victims were children at a Nashville school where Boykin taught.
His arrest came just hours after he was release on bail for similar charges here in Chattanooga.
That incident goes back to 2005 when he worked at Brainerd High School.
But officials say he did not have to have a teacher's license at Brainerd.
So he never appeared in the data base that the Nashville school checked before hiring him.
