Charges are pending today against a mother whose two children died in a crash in Chattanooga Monday afternoon.
Traffic investigators say a car driven by 29-year-old Heather Markum turned onto Willow Street from Bailey Avenue -- into the path of another car.
Markum's infant son died at the scene, while her 14-year-old daughter passed away several hours later at Erlanger.
A six-year-old remains in critical condition.
Police say the other car had a green light and the right of way.
They believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
