Jury Finds Jeff Miller Not Guilty of Official Misconduct

A jury on Wednesday afternoon found former lawmaker Jeff Miller NOT guilty in Bradley county.
Miller was charged with official misconduct when he worked as the county's delinquent tax attorney.
Prosecutors say he took pay for work he didn't do.
But Miller said the charges were politically motivated.
The jury deliberated less than three hours today and then found him not guilty.
Miller's secretary who agreed to testify in the case.. Will not go to trial.. either.
Miller served in the Tennessee Senate before deciding not to run for re-election.
