Watertown -- Breast Cancer Survivors and employees from Samaritan Medical Center hope to dance their way to a $10,000 prize.
SMC has entered a dance video in this year's Pink Glove Dance competition to raise breast cancer awareness. You can go online to watch and vote for the video by clicking here
. You can only vote once a day so, you are encouraged to vote daily until the contest ends on October 26th.
The video with the most Votes will receive the $10,000 cash prize. 2nd place will receive $5,000 and 3rd place wins $2,000. If the Samaritan Medical Center video places in the top 3 they have will donate the prize money to the American Cancer Society. Over 260 organizations have entered this year's contest.
Over 150 SMC employees participated in the video that that took 3 days to shoot and included 17 Breast Cancer Survivors who danced and sang to Katy Perry's song "Part Of Me".
The Pink Glove Dance is an annual competition that is sponsored by Medline. The first Pink Glove Dance was produced by Medline 3 years ago and has had over 13 million views on Youtube.
