Many people will be heading to stores to return Christmas presents soon. Here’s what you need to know about returning goods to Target, Wal-Mart and Toys-R-US, all stores have different policies.

If you are taking a gift back to Target, you have 30 days starting Dec. 26 to return electronics and 90 days for most everything else. If you have a gift receipt, you'll get a store gift card. Without a receipt you still might be able to return the item, but there are restrictions.

If you have an item from Wal-mart you have 15-days after Christmas to return electronics, like computers, cameras and video players. For most everything else you have 90 days.  If you don't have a receipt you can get store credit and like Target if an item is purchased after Nov. 1.

At Toys-R-US you have 90 days from From Dec. 26 to return items in new or like new condition.  It must be in its original packaging with all of the paperwork and manuals that came with it. To find out more visit www.toysrus.com.
