LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Domino's Pizza Company has come up with a saucy recipe to promote fire safety. Thursday, managers decided to surprise random customers with a free pizza.

But here's the catch. The customer must have the pizza delivered and they also must have a working smoke alarm inside their home.

Otherwise, no free pizza.

"We try to keep families safe. We try to keep kids safe. And a lot of homes don't have that surprisingly," said driver Sean Mclain.

But the delivery itself won't come the normal way. Instead the Little Rock Fire Department will deliver the pizza aboard one of its engines.

Firefighters say the ultimate goal is to let homeowners know a working smoke alarm can save lives.
