Suspect Charged in N. Memphis Triple Shooting

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Police have arrested a suspect for a triple shooting in north Memphis Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 1500-block of Standridge St near Hollywood and Chelsea just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8. Witnesses told police a fight had broken out and a suspect began firing shots into the crowd. Three victims here shot; two male victims were transported to The MED in non-critical condition, and a third male victim was taken in critical condition and required immediate surgery for three gunshot wounds to his stomach.

Investigators met with two of the victims, who identified 20-year-old Nicholas Christian as the shooter. Christian was arrested March 10 and charged with Reckless Endangerment and four counts Aggravated Assault. He was booked at the Shelby County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
