Suspect Wanted for Severe Domestic Violence Beating

MEMPHIS, TN ( - Memphis police are looking for the man who critically injured his ex-girlfriend at his Parkway Village home.

Memphis police were called to Delta Medical Center just after 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, after a severely beaten female was brought in by ambulance.

The 20-year-old woman told investigators she was at the home of her ex-boyfriend, 34-year old Tavarie Williams, to retrieve her belongings when he pulled out a knife and held her at his home for several hours while beating her.

The victim was later transported to The MED in critical condition.

Tavarie Williams is wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Kidnapping.
