MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - Three suspects are in custody for shooting a pizza delivery driver, and police didn't have to look too far to find two of them - they were already in jail for nearly killing a man in another robbery.

Zaccheus Scott, 19, and two other juvenile suspects, ages 15 & 16, are charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. The three are accused of robbing a Papa John's pizza delivery driver and shooting him in the stomach on June 6 at the Madison Cypress Lake Apartments.

According to the victim's father, the driver remains in ICU at The MED and is scheduled for another surgery Saturday morning.

Information led investigators to Scott, who was already in jail for a June 21 incident, along with the 16-year-old juvenile. The two were charged with robbing a man in the Hickory Hill area, shooting him multiple times, forcing him into the trunk of a car and leaving him to die. The two later set the vehicle on fire in an effort to cover up the crime.

Scott was booked at the Shelby County Jail on a $2 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 5. The underage suspects are being held at Juvenile Court.
