It's a beloved holiday story book, and also a reality.  The Polar Express train ride returns to Lubbock on November 16th to Wolfforth Depot.  The event is inspired by Chris Van Allsburg's Children's book released in 1986.

The newly remodeled, 1920's inspired railroad station is expected to add to the Polar Express experience this year.  Passengers are encouraged to wear their pajamas on the train where they will be served hot chocolate and cookies.

When they arrive at the North Pole, Santa Claus and elves will greet children and sing Christmas carols.  Rides will continue through January 6th and tickets are available by phone at 1-877-726-7745 or visit this link.
