Woman Killed, 2 Children Injured in Head-On Collision near Paragould

PARAGOULD, AR -- A woman is dead and two children are in the hospital after a head-on collision with a Freightliner.

According to the Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary website, 27-year-old Sara E. Hill of Holland, Mo. was driving eastbound on Highway 412 just west of Highway 141 with two boys, ages 5 and 7, when her 2000 GMC Truck crossed the center lane and struck a 2013 Freightliner head on.

A 1999 Dodge Truck then approached the scene and rear-ended the Freightliner.

Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two young boys were taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

There is currently no word on the extent of their injuries.
