Earth Day in Chattanooga meant a new home for a man who escaped war in the Sudan, thanks to Habitat for Humanity.
New LEED Home
Baja Dalla took the keys to Chattanooga's first LEED certified Habitat home. Dalla will move in with his wife and three children. The home was built using cutting edge construction to reduce the use and cost of energy.
Dalla wound up alone in a refugee camp in Ethopia at age eleven. He eventually resettled in the United States and says he's grateful for everyone's help.
Baja Dalla, "I didn't have any idea about anything to look like this, I've been here for two years and five months it is a blessing of God."
