Police Stage Prostitution Raid

 Friday, the Special Investigations Unit and officers from the patrol division of the Chattanooga Police Department jointly conducted a vice operation targeting suspected street prostitutes in the East Lake and Highland Park areas. Undercover officers were used to pose as “Johns” for the operation. Twenty one (21) suspects, nineteen (19) women and two (2) males dressed as women, were arrested and charged with prostitution. Some were also arrested on narcotics charges.  Listed below are the suspects and charges: 1.    Katherine Ricketts, w/f, dob  062279, arrested in the 1700 block of S. Willow Street and was charged with prostitution within 1 ½ miles of a school, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Willow Street and was charged with prostitution within 1 ½ miles of a school.  Complaint # 08-970083.    Jennifer Gildon, w/f, dob  112669, arrested in the 2800 block of Watauga Street and charged with prostitution within 1 ½ miles of a school.
