Results of Psychological Examination of Billy Long
A federal court has unsealed the psychological evaluation of former Sheriff Billy Long.
He pleaded guilty to 27 counts of extortion, money laundering, drug and gun charges.
And he is still awaiting his sentence.
Here are details from the report.
The evaluation found no drug or mental health problems with Long.
But he can't explain why he committed the crimes.
The psychological examiner concluded that Long could be influenced by a strong, manipulative personality.
His defense is using that as an argument for a lighter sentence.

Money makes folks do strange things
Just like all other criminals suffer a strong manipulative personality?
I guess we should free all the serial rapist, murderers, child molesters, etc... because they suffer from strong manipulative personalities!
Isnt this what they mean?
In fact I believe people in power positions should face stiffer sentencing, and harsher penalties. Someone needs to be role models.
Is our future generation gonna think thats how our system works? Whats sad is that I'm almost certain it does!!!
