Thank you to all the officers involved. It should be much safer arresting patrons of prostitutes than drug dealers and crack cocaine users.

Who says they are mutually exclusive? I suggest that they are one and the same. Those who are likely to go to a prostitue are the same who are likely to use the drugs you mentioned. Therefore, they have done their job TWICE by removing them from the general public for the time being. Cudos to the police department!

You have that all wrong, buddy. My fahter of 87 is not rightly going to be driving in that part of town, since his wife, my mother, would have to drive him. My WIFE works days and is home with me every night. My brother, the minister, lives in NC. Pretty sure he has better things to do. My neices and nephews.... well, at the ages of 14 and less... not likely. So, we are left with cousins, aunts and uncles. Since none of them live here in chattanooga......

Useless
I used to think that prostitution was a victimless crime. Living and working in the French Quarter for years taught me otherwise. Whether you want to believe it or not, many prostitutes are little more than prisoners who are exploited by their pimps in every way.
It is useless to arrest the prostitutes, they'll be back out in no time. About all you can expect from the arrest of the johns are a few divorces. If you want to be effective you have to make life hard for the pimps. They control the money, they have the drugs, they control virtually every move the woman makes. Whenever I hear someone using the word pimp in a "cool" context it disgusts me. They are pretty much on the same level as child molesters to me. Ever hear of a TV show called "Pedofile My Ride"? Pimps are scum. Just my humble opinion.
