Snow, ice, bone chilling temperatures and heavy rains have all closed schools in our area this winter.
Well, Rhea County has came up with a unique reason to send students home at 11:15 Monday morning.
It seems that a farmer near Rhea County High in Evensville spread 17 loads of chicken manure on his pasture this weekend.
The school's air handlers were drawing the odor inside so officials closed the system down as a precaution.
