The Sheriff of Walker County says Monday night's deadly shooting on Lookout Mountain looks like self-defense.
Two men and three women were involved in a domestic assault in a field between Durham and Walden Roads on Lookout Mountain.
45-year old Chuck Derryberry was killed by a shotgun blast.
Witnesses tell investigators that Derryberry was threatening the three women.. And that 35-year old Brian Lee Walden came to their defense.
Deputies questioned Walden, but then released him.
Sheriff Steve Wilson says he believes it is a case of self-defense.. But a grand jury may have the final say.
