Shooting at Signal Mountain Chiropractic

About 9:30 this morning, Signal Mountain police got a call of shots fired at the complex. They found 2 people injured inside that office, one being Dr. Loher, the other a woman, believed to be his ex-wife. Both were brought out on stretchers, and Dr. Loher was taken to the hospital by LifeForce. The woman was taken to the hospital by EMS. Shannon White is a trainer at the athletic club right across the parking lot. "I saw a lady who had came out of there and was obviously in great distress. So, I got out to get her inside, and when she said somebody had done some shooting obviously, we tried to get everybody inside. And as they pulled up, we tried to usher them on through the parking lot." According to White, the doctor was on the stretcher being taken away and he raised up to wave at them as if to say "I'm okay."
"Somebody shot the doctor. Somebody shot the doctor." That's the frantic statement made by the receptionist at Signal Mountain Chiropractic this morning, following a shooting inside the office, on Taft Highway.
The chiropractor, Dr. Terrence Loher, came to Signal Mountain to take over the practice in Ashley Plaza earlier this year.

My heart sunk as I pulled in to the parking lot to get my weekly adjustment today. Police cars and an evidence truck with yellow tape strung across. "What in the world is going on?" I finally asked a policeman what happend, all I got was, "There was a shooting." Well that didn't answer much, so I asked another person who told me the story. I pray Dr. Terry is doing ok.
He just moved here and took over the practice. I haven't been to a good chiropractor in years until I found him. Always friendly and willing to take the time to make you feel special. I been going to him for the past four months, three time a week and consider him a friend. He has really helped me out and I wish the best for him and his family.

Dr. Terry Loher
I worked with Dr. Terry while he was up in Michigan. Very nice guy! Great chiropractor. Praying for him and his daughters as they are all going to be going through a lot.
