Students at several schools across the region will be bringing home permission slips to receive the swine flu vaccine.

Starting Monday, school nurses will begin offering the vaccine in nine Southeast Tennessee counties.

Children without underlying health problems will receive the nasal spray, while others will be given the injectable form of the vaccine.

The move to vaccinate in schools comes as the vaccine supply grows, however, it will not be offered to student in Hamilton County at this time.
