The owner of the C and S market says everyone in the parking lot dropped to the ground when shots started coming from Camden street.
Johnny Dimery heard it from his apartment.
"It was rapid, like automatic, just one right after the other, right after the other," Dimery said.
Not too long after the shooting, a 17-year-old is brought into T.C. Thompson Children's hospital with gun shot wounds.
Witnesses said red SUV pulled into the C and S parking lot when shots started coming from Camden Street into the vehicle.
Dimery didn't come to the scene because he says the sound of gunshots fairly normal.
He said, "We hear gunshots around here all the time so there was no need to walk out and look around because this is what they do out here on a daily basis."
