2 Dead in Work Related Accident at Wacker Polysilicon in Bradley County

Wacker Polysilicon now confirms two construction workers died in the work related accident we reported on WDEF News 12 This Morning.

The accident occurred around 10:00pm last night when scaffolding reportedly fell on them.  They were pronounced dead at the scene by Bradley County EMS.

"Wacker and its employees are deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life," said Dr. Konrad Bachhuber, Wacker Vice President and Site Manager.

An investigation into what happened is now underway.
