Padlocking the doors at 807 Fire and Ice is a very real possibility, and you could see them as early as next week.

Manny Rico, a Chattanooga City Councilman, says, "Cancer, chaos, disorder.

And the list goes on, according to Rico.

Rico adds, "It's gotten so bad last Sunday morning that I don't see how they can keep this place open."

Police say shots were fired inside the club, and an employee was hit in the head with a bar stool.

That was going on, they say, as a security guard and a customer fought.

Now, according to the city attorney, if the club does not go out of business between now and next week, the city is prepared to take all appropriate legal action to get them to stop selling alcohol and beer.

Rico adds, "I would think the regulatory board needs to go to the DA and say this is a nuisance, shut it down."

The police department is in contact with the district attorney, and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission says they are also conducting their own investigation.

Right now the club is selling beer and liquor, even though their beer license was revoked in October.

That is because the club appealed it, and during the process, they are allowed to keep their license.

Shawn Adrien, a resident, says, "It's the city and state. They got to do what they got to do. If they got to make the place more comfortable in this area, then they got to do what they got to do."

Adrien has been coming to the club since it opened last November, and agrees with the public nuisance label.

Adrien adds, "Yes, it's a nuisance, honestly it has, so they're using the right word. Stuff is happening."

But that "stuff" will not be happening for long if the city has anything to say about it.

The attorney representing Fire and Ice did not return our call.
