Several energy efficient cars were on display Thursday at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chattanooga.
It was all a part of the of Alternative Fuel Roadshow.
There are similar events like this one going on right now all over the state of Tennessee.
Organizers say their goal is to promote electric vehicle charging stations.
You may have seen a few of those stations across Chattanooga, but did you know that the DoubleTree Hotel was the first in the nation to install commercial wall mounted units?
Bill Mish, General Manager of the DoubleTree Chattanooga, says, "Being the first ones up to bat, we were a little hesitant at first, but you know, honestly, there's really not a day that goes by that someone isn't out there using those chargers and charging their cars. We're really thrilled to see that happen in the little town of Chattanooga, Tennessee."
From here the tour will head back up to Nashville.
