(WDEF) Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke spent his lunch hour munching on burgers and getting to know his constituents.
It was another Burgers with Berke event.
He holds these meet-and-greets once a month.
The Mayor says it's a way he can hear about what's going on in the community without having the people come to him.
He explained Wednesday's agenda: "Well first I'll give them a quick update, particularly we've got the state of the city coming up next Monday, we'll talk a little about what's going on and then I want to really hear what's on their mind more than what I've been talking about."
Wednesday's Burgers with Berke took place at the Lakeshore Grille.

He needs to do these meet and greets in the gang areas. Maybe if he spent more time dodging gang bullets like the rest of us, he would actually do more to prevent gang activity instead of just hiding the term "gang" from the tourism trade. It's not going away on it's own Berke.
