Drwade i dont believe this is an attempt to get a lawsuit against a cop at all if you read the article again its regarding the process of how the cop went about his business. 1. You cannot ask for license on a TRAFFIC STOP but never ask for proof of insurance or vehicle registration 2. The harassment and racial profiling is regarding this.officer clearly hands the driver and passenger back their identification after running the information and everything comes back clean yes the passenger may be on probation but you do not have to volunteer that information unless asked especially if your not at fault of any crime during a traffic stop. So is this a attempt or someone acting desperate I don't think so because I am 100% sure these two citizens had better things to be doing

I am a white male. Every time I've been pulled over by the police any where in Tn including Bradley county I was asked about possible warrants and or probation. Further more, after watching this petty attempt to trap a cop in a law suit I noticed that the male in question did not willing inform the officer that he was in fact on probation, which in turn is a direct violation of said probation. I regret to even give my attention to these desperate people, but I can't seem to find a place to comment on the last story I heard tonight. I don't understand why news 12 still insist on spreading sandy crook propaganda? Please tell me one person's name killed with an assault rifle at sandy hook elementary school. Because you insist on saying that one was used? Recovered, yes. Used? How many rifle rounds were found? Was the gun shot once? Sounds like you guys are kinda desperate too? How about some facts tomorrow for change.

I have had the Bradley County Sheriffs do the same thing to me. They asked for both me and my passenger's drivers license. We are told that if we wasn't wanted they would let us go. My passenger and I were both white. I don't believe it was racial profiling. I think that is standard procedure.
