Chattanooga is once again in the national spotlight.

C-SPAN is in the Scenic City right now documenting everything with historic value.I used to come here as a little girl as we came down to Florida and this city really has revitalized itself. Its beautiful as we walked around all over yesterday, going to visit local restaurants. It's something I think you should be proud of, so thank you very much for having us here."

The stories they tape in the next couple of days will air January 18th and 19th.

They'll then devote an entire weekend in January to broadcast the special segments.

A representative with C-SPAN says you can look forward to seeing the Trail of Tears, TVA, and the railroad industry just to name a few places.

Chattanooga was one of 20 cities chosen to be highlighted on C-SPAN this year.
