"You can retire on personal loan of 43 dollars a day on the low end of our lease and 55 dollars on the top end and that includes basically all your utilities and housekeeping transportation to the doctors"
At Hickory Valley Senior Living they agree that cost is the main factor in why seniors chosen the scenic city.

89 year old Sylvia Green a holocaust survivor says she thoroughly enjoys her scenic city retirement and hasn't lost her sense of humor.
"Get up very late, its my favorite, whatever like, I have exercise now, well i'm supposed to have exercise, i blame you for it if i'm late"
Mia Preston says that a good climate and a sense of home from home are also vital.
"Really home and service orientated, we want this to be your home"
