CHATTANOOGA, TN, (WDEF)-It comes after a partnership with Craftworks Restaurant and Breweries.
The company that owns Big River grills has donated over 130,000 dollars.
They're also providing all meals until the new kitchen is up and running.

Allen Corey from CraftWorks Foundation,"Vendors of ours, architects, other sub-contractors, designing the kitchen, we are bringing kitchen equipment from all across our system to reinstall in the kitchen".

Jens Christensen of Chattanooga Community Kitchen,"We have a whole line outside, we will probably serve about 600 meals today, so we have a lot going on, so they are making it possible, not only having a new kitchen, but making sure that no one goes hungry because of the new kitchen."

The kitchen served over 175,000 Meals last year alone.
