Waylon Holloway is now being called the Incredible Hulk, and for good reason.
Holloway adds, "I seen the kids in the window, and the only thing I can think of was kick the door in and snatch the kids."
Around four Sunday night, Shane Keller looked up and saw his neighbor's house on fire.
Keller adds, "I didn't know what was going on. I saw smoke coming from the roof of the house over here."
Then immediately Keller screamed to Holloway.
Keller adds, "I said Waylon, there's kids in there. Kick the door open."
So, he did, and then in one powerful swoop, he says he grabbed four children who were watching tv at the time, and ran out.
The father of the children was right behind them.
Keller adds, "Holloway had them all in his arms, that's the incredible Hulk right there."
But they did not know if there were more children upstairs, so they ran to the back of the home.
Keller says, "We got halfway up the back steps, and heat from the fire blew the door open. We couldn't go no further."
Luckily, no was upstairs.
Holloway adds, "Feelings were unexplainable.'
Now, the family these men helped rescue did not want to talk on camera, but their faces say it all.
Captain Lloyd Jones adds, "When we arrived on scene, we saw heavy fire coming from the upstairs attic."
And that is were investigators believe the fire started, but as for a cause?
Well, that is still under investigation.
Keller says, "I didn't know what to do, I did what I thought was right.
A modest response from a group of men who are now being referred to as action heros in this small East Lake community.
Now, there was about $25,000 worth of damage.
The Red Cross is helping the family.
