A couple comments about the article: 1. Florida's stand your ground law was never at the center of this trial. The Defense Attorneys didn't want (or need) to go anywhere near it, as this was a case of self-defense, which is different (in Florida law) from stand your ground. The attorneys in no way wanted this one case to be a jumping off point for the elimination or removal of any stand your ground law. 2. The tragedy in this case does not start with Trayvon Martin being killed. It starts long before that, with the continual and relentless pursuit by satan of the family as God designed it. Father and mother, married, raising children together. When this plan is deviated from, tragedy happens. The tragedy was the fact that Trayvon's parents didn't have the support from their community to stay married. The tragedy was, although his father was still in his life, Trayvon didn't have the support to make sound decisions, which would have kept him out of trouble (information that was suppressed during the trial regarding his run-ins with the law). These are the things that happen when we thumb our nose at Gods ways. 3. All of these tragedies occurred before his encounter with George Zimmerman.

I don't think the shooting was racial in any way. T.Martin was looking to cause trouble (he was a troublemaker) Martins mother in the very beginning said "this was an accident" then afterward she took it all back. Justice was served. Get over it

Racial profiling may be wrong but it certainly didn’t give Trayvon Martin the right to assault George Zimmerman. End of story.
