Chattanooga, Tennessee-(WDEF) 18 year old Eric Fluellen was shot just before 3 AM and detectives do not think this was a random shooting.
Nathan Hartwig of Chattanooga Police Department says
"We still have investigators out speaking with witnesses, trying to put all the pieces together and the crime scene unit is still collecting evidence."
One local woman says the victim stumbled on to her property before falling by the roadside.
"The guy had run down and fell out in front of our house, so that's kind of scary, that's close, been here 19 years this has never happened."
A local mother believes that it's boredom that leads teenagers to gun crime.
"If our community pulls itself better together, and gives our young people something better to do, that can entertain them, I think we can get it under control."
Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
