It happened around nine at the ZeCo plant and took firefighters about an hour to get the flames under control.
The back of the building sustained serious damage but no injuries were reported.
Police had the road blocked off since the fire cause several explosions inside the building
ZeCo manufactures industrial cleaning chemicals.
No word yet on what may have started the fire.
