(WDEF) Bradley County Emergency Medical Service was dispatched to a house fire in Cleveland a little before 8:00pm Monday night.
It was to stand-by for medical support for the Cleveland Fire Department.
The incident occurred at 572 Hunter Trail North East in the City Limits of Cleveland.
When emergency units arrived on the scene there were flames coming from the residence.
From all indications and conversations with the neighbors, no one was at home.
There were multiple fire apparatus on the scene. Firefighters were actively engaged, attacking the fire at all angles. 'When I arrived on the scene there were huge flames coming through the center of the roof. The dark black smoke was thick and rolling down to the ground. Our main goal in a fire of this magnitude is to make sure we are there to take care of our firefighter brothers in case they need medical care and of course anyone that may have been injured in the fire," said Stan Clark with Bradley County EMS.
The fire was officially under control at 9:00 pm and over hall procedures began. This fire incident is ongoing at the time of this release. Investigation will be ongoing. No injuries to report at this time.
