Collegedale brought in Independence Day with a very musical celebration last night.
The celebration brings out around ten thousand people every year.
People enjoyed a night of food, family, live music, and fireworks.
The featured act was from the East Tennessee Orchestra directed by Dr. Brian Liu.
"It's great. People come out, they throw footballs, they throw frisbees, they bring their supper with them, they bring their lawn chairs with them, they kick back have a good time. It's the best type of audience to play for," said Liu.
There were also live performances from Lou Wamp's Bluegrass Band, soloist Jordan Otis, and the Chattanooga Girls Choir.
