Superheroes, SuperVillians and everything in between joined forces today at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
But it's more than just a reason to dress up. last years event raising much needed cash for local charities.
Mr Hickey, Organizer, "last year we raised 3000 dollars so we are hoping to get that much again at least, we are shooting for a bigger crowd, we have wonderful items up for auction this year".
While there were plenty of guys around it's also an event for the whole family with children enjoying the costumes and characters.
And The girls who came along say it's not just a guy event.
Hannah,"I play video games in my spare time, I started when I was five years old because my brother played Zelda."
Adrienne,"Just cool getting to meet all the famous people and stuff like that".
One fan made his own costume inspired by video game final fantasy and summed up what the event truly stands for.
"It's really nice for a bunch of people with the same mind set, bunch of video games slash comic book people, fans of various things to come together and be in a group with like minded people".
