Flood waters have finally subsided in Dade County, but leave behind a big mess.
Murphy Hollow Road took the hardest hit.
The creek rose above the road, washing away everything in it's path.
Melanie Doyle can't even get to her trailer from the road anymore after debris in the high creek destroyed their 50 year old bridge.
"A big ole tree and it's roots come flying down the creek and it just went with it.  Just knocked it out real fast," Doyle said.
EMA Director Alex Case says the water eroded several county roads.
He estimates it's around a million dollars worth of damage, and says it will be devastating to the county budget and  taxpayers if they don't get government assistance.
"We got everything stabilized and it's safe right now.  But to fix it correctly, we're gonna need to have some large funding to get it fixed," Case said.
If you would like to help Doyle's family with their damage, they can be reached at 423-785-7740 or email
