Brandon Cross is celebrating a big win from the Georgia Lottery.
The 29 year old Dalton man won a forty thousand dollar prize by playing an instant game called Bonanza. He stopped by the Kangaroo Express on Connector 3 Southwest in Dalton, Georgia for coffee when he decided to purchase the ticket.
Store Manager Donna Taylor sold him the ticket, and said that he still comes in everyday to buy more tickets. Taylor said, "He came in one morning going to work. He actually wanted a ten dollar ticket. I didn't have the ten dollar ticket that he wanted so we chose one five dollar ticket, which was the four hundred thousand dollar bonanza ticket, and he won forty thousand dollars on it. Came back in that next day, and told us he was the big winner."
Taylor says he plans on using the prize winnings to pay off his wife's new truck.
