The Delta Queen's days appear to be numbered in Chattanooga.

A group of investors purchased the steamboat for an undisclosed sum.

The deal reportedly remains contingent on Congress approving an act allowing the vessel to transport passengers on the water again.  The House has already signed off on that.  If the Senate gives its approval, the Queen will be moved for repairs this fall and winter in an effort to hit the water again in the Spring.

It's unclear if the boat will return to Cincinnati -- her home for nearly 50 years.
