Fiery Crash in Bradley County Results in Fatality

(WDEF)  Bradley County Emergency Medical Service responded two ambulances and a shift commander to a reported crash at the intersection of State Highway 60, also known as Georgetown Road, and Eureka Road.
     Initial reports coming in were that there was a single vehicle crash with a person inside unresponsive with fire beneath it. Emergency crews received the call at 2:45 pm and arrived on the scene within minutes. When EMS crews arrived they found what appeared to be a Ford Explorer fully involved in flames. They attempted to extinguish the fire with fire extinguishers but the flames were to large.
     There was one occupant in the vehicle which was the driver. The injuries sustained were fatal. EMS contacted the Bradley County Medical Examiner's Office to respond to the scene.
     The accident is under investigation.
